Contemplative Quintessence Yoga Workshops 
These Weekend workshops provides slow, contemplative classes which combine asana (poses) with pranayama (breathing practices) as well as  time for meditation. There is also time for formal and informal discussions of yoga practices and philosophy. These weekend workshops release the deepest core tensions of your body, allowing you to experience a profoundly peaceful state, and learn how to take it with you.

Weekend Workshops 
Other Weekend Workshops may explore any one of a number of themes. Weekend workshops include:   "Strong Bones, Flexible Body, Quiet Mind","Daily Practice for Health and Well Being", "You Can Take It With You", "Your Breath is a Miracle", and "Take Your Time".

 
Half Day Workshops 
Immerse yourself for a morning or an afternoon of Contemplative yoga. Different workshops address different areas of your body such as neck and shoulders, always starting with release of the deep core tensions. 

Learn to Meditate 
Discover the importance of meditation. This course runs over 3 consecutive sessions. Each session meets for 2 hours.  You will have a chance to practice what you learn in the intervening days, and receive personalized help and answers to any questions you may have about your meditation experience. 
 
You will learn 3 different techniques for meditation as well as the philosophy that is the foundation for  meditation. At the end of the course you will  have everything you need to start and maintain a home practice of meditation, including the technique that works best for you.
 
Yoga Philosophy Discussion Groups 
Come and learn about the philosophy that underlies the physical practice of yoga.  Discover the ways in which the philosophy of yoga articulates and helps you to recognize your experiences of the physical practice. Each Discussion will focus on a specific aspect of yoga philosophy or a specific practice.
